Open Water Referral
Quiescence is a referral location for both PADI, SSI, and NAUI open water checkout dives. Find a local dive shop at home to conduct your classroom and confined water sessions at your own pace. Come down to the fabulous Florida Keys to learn to dive on reefs and historic shipwrecks.

Our checkouts dives are conducted at any of our shallow sites, which are between 25’ – 35’. The course is a day and a half, beginning with a watermanship assessment in the morning, and two open water dives in the afternoon. The second day concludes with your last two checkout dives, logbooks, and graduation!
Pricing includes equipment, instruction, and certification processing. Price does not include the two private charters necessary to complete the course. ($495 each)
